Volunteer Opportunities

Assistant Leader – help run meetings, coordinate various troop activities, fill in for leader, etc.

Student Liaison – arrive in Spanish room early to meet any early children, pick up any girls from K+ and escort them to the Spanish room

Fall Product Chair – Collect order forms from girls, pick up fall product, distribute fall product to girls/parents, collect money from girls/parents

Troop Cookie Chair – Collect order forms from girls, pick up cookies from council, distribute cookies to girls/parents, collect money from girls/parents, make runs to cookie cupboard

Meeting Assistant – GSUSA requires 2 adults present @ meetings for every 10 girls at the Daisy age level and then 1 adult for every additional five girls, so depending on how many girls sign up, we’ll need parents at meetings J

Field Trip Chaperone/Driver – GSUSA requires 2 adults present @ troop outings for every 6 Daisy level girls, so we’re going to need plenty of volunteer chaperones for any outings we choose to go on. J

Troop Account Signor – we need one more name on our troop bank account for writing checks. All checks to council require 2 signatures

Special Girl Scout Ceremonies – in the fall we will have our Investiture Ceremony, in the Spring we will have our bridging ceremony for any first graders and our end of year party. We’ll need volunteer to help with those 2 events
